Panorama map: ‘Where the mountains begin … ’

Festival director and illustrator Toon Hezemans is a passionate believer in Zuid-Limburg’s inalienable bond with adjoining regions across the border. In fact, you can step across an international border here without even realising it. The topography of Zuid-Limburg seamlessly morphs into the extensive forests, valleys and highland regions of the Eifel and the Ardennes. So, in this regard, this is where the mountains really begin.

Toon chose to demonstrate this contiguity in a way only he knows best, by drawing a panorama map and visualising what this expansive cross-border region has to offer. Do you have an affinity with the region or want to make a gift to someone? If so, you can order a poster of the map here!
The poster is a full-colour print on 135g MC paper with blueback. The poster will be sent to you in a tube.
