Most of all, Sophie wants to be alone. Free of obligations and measuring up to others. Alone in the Norwegian wild. No one seems to understand that. On her way to the North Cape through Arctic terrain, things appear to be tougher than at first sight.

Filmmaker Bart Schrijver and leading actor Jamie Bouwmeester really did cover the 500 kilometres to which this feature film relates. In the wilderness of the Norwegian outback, they wanted to capture on film the grandeur and the magic of nature as hikers experience it. ‘A film made especially for lovers of the outdoors. For walkers and hikers. Fans of the mountains, the forests, the plains, the silence and the vistas.’

Twan Peeters’ beautiful wildlife shots invite you to go out outdoors and experience all those great but difficult moments that go with it yourself.
