Mythical past
The legend Goldhorn is based on a Slovenian folk tale which takes place in the mountains. The story is all about love, greed and our relationship with each other and our environment. The story takes place in the so-called mythical past, a time when humans were connected with the laws of nature. The supernatural beings had a connection with everyday life and were worshipped like gods. This is reflected in the colour scheme of the drawings. The colours are vibrant and reflect the ultraviolet and infrared radiation that surrounds us, but is invisible to the human eye. The vibrancy of the colours is in stark contrast to the dark story.
